All this talk about the RNC peaked my curiosity so I bought one! I'm almost completely Alesis-less!! :D

IMHO, the RNC at its price point is one of the few no-brainers in semipro recording. It's sort of in that SM57/what's not to like class.-Richie

EXACTLY Rich!!! Simple to use, transparent processing all at a price affordable to most!
Every home & project studio should have 1 !!

BTW, the RNC cannot be rack-mounted using the optional face-plate provided by FMR. I purchased both about a year & a half
ago on the insistence of Cuzzin' Brucie Blue-Bear and have never
looked back!

Bummer!
What about the ones from funk logic? Wonder if they fit?

Optional face-place provided by FMR? I think I missed that.

They will rackmount quite neatly to a "universal" single-space tray. There's a hole in the bottom tapped to fit a standard rack screw.

There are also those Funk Logic thingies (the allegedly humorous "Chevy" one, and the more businesslike one that Mercenare offers and "Bowisc" provides photographic evidence of). Those aren't provided by FMR, though ... and I'd be pretty surprised if they don't work.
