all about the groove

Hi All: I recorded these this morning. It was all about groove. The more I play, the less the fancy stuff interests me. It actually often gets in the way. To play with no thoughts and drifting down a peaceful fantasy is what turns me on. Most players are full of threads of stuff that never comes together in a sustainable groove. I am talking closet players to well known ones. We all have our own opinion of groove. These songs are my definition. Enjoy! Walter

Wow, really cool stuff! Has a nice oldschool blues feel to it...
The harp is a little loud and "tweezy" for my taste, but i dig the tunes.

Hi M10K: Thanks for listening to my music! I have been in an ongoing search/struggle to find one mic that will accurately capture my vocals and harp (at same time). I am currently using a Michael Joly mod Oktava MK 219 through a universal audio 610 preamp and a neve 1081 eq plugin from universal audio. I use almost no eq on all 4 tracks I record on. It is the closest I have come yet. Any suggestions would be welcomed. Walter
