Hello everyone. I have an Alesis Studio 32 console which suddenly started to produce a buzzing sound on all channels. When investigating what was happening, I first checked the power supply and it delivers the voltages of +15V and -15V, as well as the phantom power voltage. When connecting the rear connectors PCB, the voltages also remain at their values, but when connecting the main PCB (of faders and knobs), the voltage drops to around 3 volts both on the positive and negative sides. Clearly, there is something causing a short circuit or excessive consumption. I touched the components on the PCB, but I didn't notice any that had an elevated temperature (only the voltage regulators on the power supply heat up significantly when I connect the faders PCB). Is there any known component on the main PCB that causes this issue? Will a thermal gun indicate if any OPA is short-circuited? Any capacitor? Thank you very much for any information.
