Alesis SR18

I just purchased an Alesis SR18 and a Boss FS-6 footswitch. On patterns I programmed, when I press the "B" footswitch, the sound stops until the loop begins again and then what I programmed starts playing. This doesn't happen with the built in patterns or when I use the buttons on the unit. Only with the footswitch on my patterns. I must have changed a setting as I have erased and re-recorded the patterns with no change. Any ideas?

I believe I found the key to making it work. You have to program fills in to the A and B parts because the footswitch does not click directly to the A or B parts. It passes through the fills first then to the A or B part. Once I programmed fills in, even if they were the same as the A or B part it works just fine. It's a bit of extra work but that seems to be the only way to make it work.
