Alesis QS6 problem.

Hi. Can someone please advise on this problem I'm having? The keyboard is usually "out of tune". The pitch is a couple half steps or so flat when I reference it. I compensate the problem by adjusting the tuning setting, however this value should read "00" when working properly, yes? Then I believe it fixes itself sometimes, and then my keybaord is sharp since I've adjust the tuning. Sometimes when I hold a sustained note, you can hear the pitch slightly shifting. Any ideas? Might my power adaptor be bad? Any idea how much it might cost to fix? Thanks. -Perry

It could be the power adaptor, but instead of subtle tuning problems as you're having if the power adaptor goes bad the unit dies.

I can't give you an estimate from here - you need to take it to an Alesis authorized repair shop for that.

Call Alesis tech support in Rhode Island. They're very, very helpful. Hopefully the issue is a simple one.

This happened to me once and I just reset to the original factory settings and hasn't happend since.
