Hello!
I am trying to improve my QS 8.2 dynamics performance but I could not find at the reference manual any option to change the velocity response of the keys in a way that the softer sound it makes is inaudible. In other words, I would like that when I press a key very gently no sound comes out of it. The way it is now, the lowest sound it makes is still too loud. This may sound odd but real pianos and several other keyboards I've played work this way and it would greatly increase my dynamic options when performing classical songs or jazz standards.

I've changed the velocity scaling and curve options but, although the keyboard became more sensitive, it's lowest sound was kept the same. I also tried to change some of the amplitude and range options but none of them seemed to be related to the matter. Any ideas?

Did you try setting the Keyboard curve to "plastic" in the Global settings? This seems to work for me but you may find that the velocity sensitivity on this setting is not as sensitive as you like in louder passages

Hi ErichS!

It worked! This problem was bugging so badly that I was considering to change my instrument for something else. Thanks!
It looks like it takes away some sensitivy when playing louder...but it's not so noticeable or relevant as the change on the gentler passages.

I've been fooling arround with its options to make it more like an actual piano to play classical songs, any other configuration changes you think I should consider?

Great, glad that worked for you! Sorry I don't really have any pointers on setting up for classical as I only play keyboard as a secondary instrument. I will say that I find that the the stock piano patches use a little too much reverb for my taste so I usually lower that some.
