Hi guys, im buying new equiptment. i read the reviews on the Alesis Monitor1 MKII Channel Studio Monitors

It seems they are a great deal ! but ... their passive . What type of amplifier is used for this type of monitors? Can the amplifier affect the frecuency spectrum of the speaker?
what do you recomend?
