Hi, Long time no see. I won this on ebay about a week ago to try out and have concluded, since I record analog tape, I will mix-down to analog tape.
This Masterlink is in perfect working order and cosmetically near spotless. It's got one lightest of light scratch on the top that's only visible when a bright light hits it at the right angle....even then it's barely noticeable. I only saw it because I set it directly underneath a lamp. Other than that, it's immaculate.
The fellow I won this from said he barely used it, and I believe it. Like new condition, really. I ran it thru it's paces for 5 or 6 hours, that's all I've used it....works and sounds great.....I guess I'm just a tape guy. (I want a BR-20). This Masterlink has the 2.19 software version, 1.27 firmware version....whatever that is. The HD holds up to 52 hours in 16-44. I was informed it has a 80 gig hard-drive, which I think is overkill, but what the hey. It comes with original manual, remote control, power cord, rack ears and original box. Great peice of gear. $425.00 shipped...to lower 48 states only. Paypal or U.S. Postal money order good. I'm mentioned (kensington) on the good guys list for a few items I sold from awhile back....(Peluso mic and Cad VSM1 mic....see, I sell good s*#t....wish I had that VSM back!). My ebay rating is 100% postive feedback for about 65 transactions , under ebay name keduko if you wanna check it out. If you want a very nice Masterlink, even the rack ears look brand new, this is it. thanks, Kenton
