Alesis Ion Edrums---??

I saw this kit at Wally World the other day on Black Friday, just wondering if anybody knows any details on it, or have tried it?

It was around 280 I believe, I'm a guitarist without a drummer and it would be nice to have a cheap kit to lay down on demos.

As long as it had midi, which I saw on the box, I could just program them through sonar, or similiar, to use my own samples.

I've also been looking into the DIY edrums, and I have alot of links pertaining to that, but I would like to hear some reviews/specs on these ion sets, seeing how they come with a alesis module.

Yea, not bad, but I'm looking for a actual set, these were ala vdrums style, full kit.

That's not a bad set for that price, I've heard alot about it, but just not what im looking for.
