Greetings everyone, i bought an Alesis IO2 express a couple of months ago and it was great ^.^
I used to have it in an older laptop and used guitar rig 4 and cubase sx just fine.
When I bought the interface I actually went to the store with my old laptop to get everything instaled and set up, it would have been a pain if I was to figure out to configure both cubase and guitar rig all on my own...
Now I bought a new laptop and instaled the new cubase le5 that came with the interface as well as the guitar rig I had before.
Problem is that I can't find a way to configure the interface!
Somehow I think I'm missing a driver or something...but i checked and I only had one cd that came with the interface and it had only cubase le5 (I also checked online and found nothing on the Alesis website).
I'm going to leave a couple of screens because I have no idea wat might be causing this...
btw, I'm running on a 64bit windows 7 premium.
What I know: I believe i can record audio using the interface but i can barely ear it when I play after recorded and the sound comes from the computer (and it looks pretty weird with noises and too much distorted).
on guitar rig: Theres not even an option you can select the interface
heres some screens...
this is the VST settings as they were:
This is the error message I get for trying to change to "Session I/O"
these are the vst settings, I believe when It says "microfone 1(or 2)" or "colunas e auscultadores" Those are the default laptop outputs
And these are screens from guitar rig audio+midi settings
And thats all, thank you for reading, looking forward to hear replies and sorry bout the huge post with all the screens
Cheers!
Edit: sorry but I couldn't find a way to make the imgs smaller or anything...tried to wrap them in
