Okay I'm pretty new to home recording but thought I'd get myself an Alesis iO2 audio interface.
So i've just installed all the drivers and got everything installed. The strange thing is, plugging my electric acoustic guitar through the 1/4 inch jack input means that the battery light won't turn on on my guitar to show that it is active. The weird thing is the battery light comes on if i have the jack plugged in sort of half way and will flcik on and off as i switch between +48v powered and unpowered. However the device still doesn't pick up any audio
The even stranger thing is, to check that my guitar works, if i plug the jack from the guitar into any of the outputs or even the phones socket my guitar battery light lights up.
My battery is brand new and everything with the guitar is in working order but when i plug into the guitar/Line input socket I get absolutely no power from the guitar.
I don't quite understand!
Any help would be much appreciated.
