This is a cool little device I used 2 times for live performances, comes with orig.box AC converter, and monster cable RCA cables. I paid $250, sell 175 best offer thank you

you have 2 posts here, and they are both to try to sell the piggest PIECE O' CRAP ever sold in a music store, and for more than Mars or Musicians Friend originally sold them for!!!

go home now.
And don't come back

Really now, is that neccisarry. Such an Additude, I hope I dont ever run into you. Is it that your a little biased, nashville Hick?
Do you like I country music? Then of course you would have no need for this item. Think beyond your own capabilities for just once. And the MSRP is $250 So I doubt it sold for less than $175 new. $200 is lower than it was ever supposed to be advertised according to Alesis, So go home drink a 'Coors and cool out, maybee reflect on why your so negative, I bet your music would sound better if you did

Actually... you are overpricing considerably....

The AirFX sells for $250 new in Canada - which is $158 US. Used gear - especially cheap gear - does not have high resale value - you can expect maybe 30-50% of the retail price at best.....

BTW, this is the wrong forum for this, this belongs in the Equipment For Sale forum - which you've already done - there's no need to crosspost......

You do have a piece of crap there taht you are tryin' to con others
with that outrageous price.

My man H2(O)H is correct! We have a forum here set up if you wanna' try and sell your gear! Use it!

And WTF was that Nashville comment? I'm Nashville and I'm country but someone called me a hick they better hope thier yankee ass can run faster than me.! ;-) On a serious note though that thing crap.

ok, true enuf, this thread dosent belong here, if i could move it I would.

Quality: Have you actually sat down and used this, or are you judging that since it is the lowest priced Alesis equipment, it is automatically crap? Any actual reasons that it is crap? Some examples of how it is crap, pleaze?

How have you used them? Put your guitars thru it? It wasn't really made for that, and if thats all you've tried then your missing out.

About the nashville thing, sorry if I offended you, but there is WAY More out there than country music, step out of the box for a bit. most of the people that are using this are making Techno, drum & Bass, Rap, etc etc. I used it for making DUB. I bet you have never even heard of DUB (it's a type of REGGAE) other than the long beach dub allstars (the worst ever, and a disgrace to most reggae fans)

You all have too many negativity issues, I have never seen such BS in my life. If you would like to hear how it is supposed to be used there are some samples here, oh and wouldnt you know? A $249 list price and $199 sale price, just like I stated

You probably don't care....

...but you have priced yourself out of the ballpark as far as potential Canadian buyers are concerned.... as I said, it lists new for $250 cdn - WHICH IS $158 US..........

I have heard the unit -- it amounts to being a DJ toy, as opposed to being a serious studio tool... it can have some cool effects that may be occasionally useful on tracks, but its gain structure is at consumer line-level, making studio interfacing more difficult.

But anyways... your price is way off as far as used gear.... (even 2 hours old, once the gear leaves the store, the gear is devalued unless you're talking serious high-end stuff...)

So take your foot out of your mouth as far as price goes........

Wassup Shakes!!! You still got my vote for

"Best Name @ Homerecording.Com"!!!!

Hows the studio biz goin'!!

LMAO ;-) thanks MISTERQCUE not much same old crap down here. Just finished up one in the mixing clinic for a client with kind of a vintage type sound. I am keeping busy ;-)

Oh and for Mr. Jackasses information Nashville has a HUGE club, rap/R&B scene, as well as a huge Pop and rock base. THe country music scene down here is Nill, there are basiclly 3 Country stations in Nashville and twice as many for Pop/top 40.

I also played with the Air Effects at a club with a friend of mine who is a well known Dj here at one of the bigger clubs and I was not impressed and he ended up selling it within a month. So the enviroment which I used this and saw it in use had NOTHING to do with country music or a studio. I think I gave it a fair review so on the Shakestheclown scale this thing gets a suckass rating but hey thats just me thinking inside the box! ;-(

-completely staying out of the issue as to whether this thing is a POS DJ toy, or a cool thing to get, or whatever-

-PRICING- (I WILL address this issue)
Whenever I want to check the value on something like this, I always search "completed items" on eBay. Here's a NEW one that sold for $152.50 + $10.00 shipping. Good luck trying to get $175 for a used one, especially here.

i've been terribly busy lately.

#1 I don't play country music, never have. Not that I don't like it, but I have nothing to do with that market. #2 my HR buds are right, as usual. #3 ha ha ha ha

Shakes- I need to swing by and visit your studio sometime when you're not busy, man! I ended up stopping on my way to Nashville and have started a commercial studio here in KY for now. But it's not terribly far from you. Shoot me an email or something.
