Is there any point to buy an adat anymore?I'm thinking about buying one but can help to thing 'bout their lifespan.
They're getting old,don't you think...
Is there any new technology waiting behind the corner..?
Can they be sync'ed via midi timeclock to my other equipment......????

I don't think they'll be going away anytime soon. I wouldn't buy a brand new one, that's for sure but there'll be some bargines on used ones o' plenty with folks buying HDRs and selling their old gear.
You can sync up ADATs via MTC with a couple of pieces of equipment like a BRC and a Midi Time Piece.
