I don't know how much they had to do with the design, but since they own Groove Tubes we have to give them some credit for those products too. Especially the VIPRE. The Masterlink is a good piece too.

But they sure did make a lot of crap too! I was an unfortunate owner of their ill-fated (only about 500 made) 8-bus mixer.
 
Look at the FMR Audio RNC

Pardon my ignorance...wait a sec, you were all ignorant once, too!...but what does this stand for? Really Nice Compressor?

The RNC is a very cool compressor. I'm a happy owner. HOWEVER, it's important to note that even though it's a stereo compressor, it doesn't function as a 2 independent channel compressor.

If you really need 2 separate channels, like for kick and snare at the same time, some of the old dbx comps are pretty good and can be had for cheap. I really like my old original 166. There's a few on eBay and they go for around $120.
