Hi im new to recording and I have few questions
I am using garageband with my macbook pro and when I plug Alesis 26 with my Shure BG 2.1 mic for some reason the input is low its very hard to hear anything and when I put effects on the tracks it sounds better but with a lot of noise because of the low input .It happens with my guitars too but when I check out the sounds settings on the system preferences it looks like I can see it works because of the lines that move as I play ,it dosn't happen with the mic but on garage band the mic and the guitars are very low and I can't really hear. When I save it sounds a lot more stronger but not enough for me
Is it the mic or the Alesis 26 ? Is there a way make the volume stronger like in cubase ?
Another question - I installed Windows on my mac and Alesis 26 just dosn't work there it is unable to find it after I installed all the drivers?
Thanks
