Is Alan from PMI Audio still around? Have a problem with a studio projects mic.

I saw Alan the day after the NAMM show. I believe he's in Hawaii right now, recovering. Call Brent Casey at PMI Audio.

Thanks Harvey but the phone call would cost more than the mic is worth! Okay, maybe not, but I'm trying to exhaust a few other avenues first. i'm not even sure what the problem is.

Tele,

Check out what an international call would cost per minute, etc., you may be surprised that it isn't too expensive. I've called Brent a few times recently and it's so cheap from Aust., that it's not funny.

Really? About stuff like Mics developing a fault? It's like 18 months old so I dunno what I'm expecting Alan to do about it. I feel bad for complaining :o

From what I've read on the forums Alan Hyatt really stands behind his products which is one of the reasons people feel safe buying Studio Projects products.

Mate, they do have great customer support so I wouldn't hesitate to contact someone there...........maybe try the UK offices first, but it wouldn't hurt to email Brent ( B-r-e-n-t A-T p-m-i-a-u-d-i-o D-O-T c-o-m ) and see if he has any suggestions and ask if he'd mind if you called. He's not a bad bloke for a yank :D:D.............now to sit back and wait for the bites :D:D.

Thanks, I'll do that. Is it an upper case B?

You could also try a PM through here. He (Alan or Brent) may have it set to alert him with an email.

It was just the 7 pin connection!! Cost me €50 for a new one but oh well, I'm good to go again.

I know it's too late now, but in the future, download "Gizmo project". You can call any phone, anywhere in the world for free. I call China a lot. There is a little latency. I upgraded to the premium Gizmo project and now talk with no latency for only pennies.
