Akoustik Piano

I just purchased a Roland FP 5 digital piano as I like the feel even though piano sound is weak. I also purchased Akoustik Piano software. Will an audio interface work better than a mixer to produce sound through my speakers? I am new to this so ANY help would be greatly appreciated!

Probably the best thing to do is get a good sound card for your PC/Mac. For software synths and other apps it is the main thing to determine the sound quality leaving your computer. Good monitors are essential too.
