i just wanted to know if these two mikes r good

the akg d-770 i went to inspect the other day at a music store and i liked it...

anyone worked with them before, how is their frequency response etc. etc.

the seem very nice for the price range... or do they?

as i was saying i was in a music store so i could not check them out myself

I've got one and I've used it on acoustic guitar, on a guitar amp and for vocals. Yes- the infamous "Cat Brains" vocals were recorded with a D-770. The off-axis rejection is great, just not a very sparkling sound overall.
