R Richard Monroe Well-known member Dec 17, 2006 #2 The short answer is- No. Many people here know that I love and use AKG dynamics, but that is not one of them. I do prefer D770 or D3800 or even an old D320 to an SM58, but between the mics you named, I'd take an SM57 or SM58. -Richie
