Using the D112 directly inside the kick I'm finding I have to eq the hell out of it in order to get a sound thats not too thumpy. Then I have a problem with the levels being inconsistant and jumping out. I find one of my a cheap old dynamic mikes getting along better with the kick. Just wondering if anyone else has had any experience like this.
