AKG C3000 and C3000b

Can anyone shed some light on the AKG C3000 (not the C 3000b).
What is different between it and the 3000b, besides the selectable patterns?
Also which do you guys prefer? I have 2 C3000’s should I think about replaceing them with C3000b’s?
I could not find any specs on the C3000.
 
I think in AKG term the b means 'got a bas cut switch'

If you're going to replace two C3000s, I wouldn't replace them with two more. Especially considering the C3000 is a sub-standard mic for the money.
 
The B does NOT stand for bass cut. The B model was an improvement over the original. Not as harsh sounding.
 
My C3000 has 3 switches 10db pad, bass rolloff, and hyper pattern.
Is the C3000 sound bad up against a C3000b. Did AKD discontinue the C3000 because it is crap.
 
I have an AKG C3000 (NOT "b"). Well, I wouldn't buy another (I'm not gonna sell it either, as I don't expect anybody to pay much for it).

A month or so ago, I noticed a C3000b in the local store. I asked the salesman about the difference between the two models (apart of colour, what is obvious), and he said, that the "b" has bigger diaphragm (1" as opposed to 1/2" in the orginal C3000).
