AKG C1000 vs C1000s

Can anyone tell me what the difference is between AKG's C1000 and C1000s? Quality? Mucho obliged.

OK. I'm new here but I just got tired of waiting for one of you well informed hombres to answer my question so I contacted Sweetwater (.com of course) and Gregg informed me that the only difference is that the C1000s has an on/off switch, thus the 's.' Just for the heck of it, they also changed the C1000s' color to silver gray. Any more questions?

You ought to tune into the quality of the Yorkville mic that I reported on. A very nice mic for the money.

I have an AKG3000 and I just unplugged it and it will probably remain unplugged for good. The Yorkville Apex 430 beat the hell out of it for quality sound.

But, keep asking questions; I'll respond even if nobody else does, if I can help.
