i just acquired one of these and was wondering if they're any good?

So you just "acquired" one did you? 
Is it good? Well, you tell us! I reckon its a mike most homewreckers will never ever get to use. From what we hear it does not stand up too well to its legendary ancestors, but compared to the mikes normally seen in bedrooms... If you dont like it you can always find use for it as a bread roll or baseball bat or sex toy or something.
