AKG 200 PERCEPTION... can it work on a tascam 424 mkIII?

Thats basically my question... im thinking about getting this microphone but can it be used using a tascam 424 mkIII? Has something to do with phantom power right? I need an answer!!!

No it will not work without a phantom power supply.

Check out ART they sell one that works with 9volt batteries or a 12 volt adaptor. I own one and it works great. Cost about 40.00 bucks

hey man... can you show me exactly what to buy? so i can just go ahead and buy it really quick? lol i want to make sure i can use it on the tascam
