AKEX - New Album - No One Cares

Some of you may remember AKEX, the I Like To Run and Gluttony In The USA guys. To quote Urban Dictionary "AKEX: Their unique vocal styling and cutting edge instrumentals make them stand out from many other bands." Well we have new songs, and a new album called "No One Cares."

We call the album "No One Cares" because no one cares about AKEX anymore. It's like the Beach Boys in 2012, they put out an album- but no one cares. It's not like the 1960's Beach Boys where you know ever song and album.

It's not the same AKEX that it used to be. It's just me now, no more band. I'm not sure if the band is just really busy or just wants nothing to do with me, I suspect the 2nd even tho they say the first:(

I'm banned there myself. I haven't posted there in a few years. It's really sad and pitiful over there now.
 
Awesome stuff guys. The drums could use a little bump in the 300 range, and the guitars are a bit fizzy, but it's coming along great. :thumbs up:
 
I played the song "Slaves (Money)", and others for my mom and she liked them. She said I'm REALLY creative. She told me that some of my lyrics and vocals were very good and catchy and I should try writing lyrics, because maybe a band will use them.

dude ..... clips of someone singing lyrics with absolutely no music at all are useless.
Sure your mom likes 'em.
Maybe she'll pay you for them.

I killed AKEX, and now I REALLY regret it. Because I still want to be creative, but now I'm all alone. No one wants to make music, movies, stories... aside from my brother it seems like they want nothing to do with me (or they're busy). My brother no longer wants to do AKEX (he was Rob Forge), others no longer want to do it. Now it's just me. I guess I can still make music, tell my stories, make videos without them... but there is no motivation, it's not as fun. Ed created the AKEX band and gimmick, and was a major driving force behind AKEX.

I actually am real now, and then I was pretty much real too. You can choose to belive it or not, I really don't care. I mean, I'm not the actual "Bogey". But if you look at Bogey as MY nickname I'm pretty much real, what I posted as "Bogey" was pretty much my real life. On THAT fourm some of them were exaggerated stories based off my life, although many of them were true like the oral report. I was being myself, but now it's like the boy who cried wolf. Since I was using someone elses name everyone thinks I'm false. But the reality is Bogey is not false, there is no exaggeration on here, it's just pure me.
 
I think you're just swell Dr. B.! And I'm sure Greg does, too - if only he could admit it.

Were you on the OTHER forum back in the day when AKEX was in it's prime? or do you know me from just from this forum? I'm kind of a shell of my former self now. Back then I had lots of help, I miss posting with my brother and friend.

Are you really from Germany? If so, that's pretty neat. I'm from Long Island, New York. LI is not so neat

I mean the real article and not a falsehood. I know you from this forum only - but its enough I think. Germany is a neat place.
