I'm gettin desperate here...
I need this sample to finish off a song I'm working on...
I lost the original & I've tried just about every 'breaking glass' sound on the internet & nothing fits properly.
The original was on a a small BL100 sample disk that was included with the original Akai S612 sampler from the mid 80's.
If anybody has it, can ya PLEASE foward it to me or give me an idea where I can beg, borrow or steal it :)

Don't you have any glass to break? I would suggest trying to record the sound yourself...it would make it a lot more fun and original.

That's what I've been attempting to do for some time now.
Unfortunately, the sound I need has to be slowed down to about
1/3 the speed and it has a very specific 2 note key.
The entire song was written around the sound so duplicating it is a
major compromise compared to just getting the original.

Record it and throw the wav into a soft sampler. I think even fruity loops would do the job. Then you would have the sample mapped over the entire keyboard and be able to pitch shift it by a few cents if neccessary.

I've got a sampler & a keyboard so pitch shifting isn't the problem.
I need the original sound to begin with so that I can slow it down.
Once it's slowed down, the glass hits a specific pitch (F & D)
The closest I can explain is this really old 4 track recording where the sound
is buried in the mix.

The best I've been able to do with this one is try mixing it into the background of the 48 track version, but even after EQ'ing the heck outa it, you can still hear the original cheezy drum machine.
