Akai DSP12i

I just ordered a new AKai DPS 12i from Musicians Freind. I got it for 799$ is that a decent price. It has a 10 gig hard drive. I need a CD recorder to make master CD's and back up info. I also need the CD recoderd to double in the sound booth at our church. Will one of the Philips CD burners work ? I am looking at the Philips 785 CD burner. Let me know what you guys think

It didn't mention philips....they listed teac, plextor, and a couple others, but you may want to inquire to akai.
