AKAI DPS24 Monitor

Hi all, does any one know if any external monitor can be connected to the unit? Or do you need to buy a special monitor?

Any computer monitor that has been made in the last few years should do fine.

Thanks! I'm not sure if a person needs a monitor connected except maybe to get a different propestive on the data. Unless a monitor would be useful for mastering purposes? I'll see if the MasterLink has a connector for a monitor.
 
Actually, you have to use usb to run it through the program Ak.Sys (available on akai's website free) on your comupter for monitoring. You cant just plug a monitor into it. You guys are getting the dps confused with the roland 2480
