Great price! Great purchase. Spend some time playing and you'll get the most out of this fine piece of equipment. One piece of advise (or two). Like a laptop CDR, be very gentle with the CDR tray -- always support it underneath when snapping a CD on. Also, when doing track edits, or whatever, always watch the display for the "Completed" signal before moving on to other things. After burning a CD the display will ask if you want to burn another. After placing a new blank CD in and pushing "yes" it will often take a few seconds for the machine to start the new burn. This is normal, just wait... It's easy to always assume all processes are instantaneous, but they're not. What I've noticed is with things like burning and editing (and everything) the VF's are biased to retain the utmost in sound quality -- therefore no clicks, pops, whatever. The burn speed itself is not that fast, but it's VERY reliable -- having burned about 50 disks so far, I've never had a disk come out less than perfect... My PC is not nearly as good.

The Fostex VF80/160 have a great "feel". Like they're well put together (they are). May you have many happy track hours!
