haha they are all white. not sure if that's a compliment but I'll take it either way.
 
Good simple reaggae - well written and performed. The panning/balance on the first mix is weird for me. But I never listen to reggae so maybe that's normal. The vocals are amazingly clean. I found the drums and bass to be "woofy", "muddy" or bottomy. The guitar sounds okay in rhythm. The lead sounds okay.
I'd love to hear some more details on your recording setup.
 
Thanks a ton. Yeah, I'll admit the panning is a bit odd. I was trying to go with a very spatial mix but I have had a lot of trouble getting the bass to solidify. I may make it sound more like the bass in the second track. As for the kit, I wanted more "punch" from the kick drum so I high-shelfed some of the lower frequencies up about 3 db so I'll try and bring that back a little bit for the next mix.

-(2) Prodipe A1 Condenser Mics
-(2) DI Boxes for Bass/Guitar
-Some large-diaphragm Peavy mic that I don't know what the model number is
-Nady DM70 (in place of an SM57 that I lost)

-Mackie SR 24-4 VLZ Pro mixer (this is also my live board)

-Motu HD192 Hi-def I/O (12in/12out)
