again wharfedale!!!

Hi guys,
I know that thare're a lot of discussion threads about these spekears,and I was so impressed that I decide to buy a wharfedale 8.1 or 8.2 active.
But when I asked to my preferred instrument shop,they told me that are not good for recording...."for sure is better to buy more famous brand,like krk or alesis"...
now I'm really confused..!!
maybe in italy wharfedale are not so famous like other branch!
Any suggestion?or encouragement??

Or maybe he doesn't get as much of a commission on Wharfedales as he does other monitors.

My opinion is that they are good for recording. (I have the 8.2 actives)

The guy who told you that doesn't know what he's talking about. Them Wharfedale Diamond 8.2 are good for recording. They're pretty accurate, one of my friends have some and he loves them. So if you're getting them, it would be a good investment.
