Yeah---underappreciated. When it was first introduced it was part of a set with PL 35 mics. Street price was $100 for a kit with one PL33 and three PL35 mics. Word got out and the price went into the hundreds. Keep your eyes peeled for the N/D868 which, every rare now and then, goes on sale (PSSL) for $100. Another useful kick mic that goes on sale, sometimes as low as $25-$30 (MF, GC) is the DigitalReference DR1000. I can't really tell much from the video---just the nature of the mobile beast I'm watching on.
