This is another cool tune. The vocals are a bit of a conumdrum to me. If I crank it up to a good volume I can hear them pretty good. But at a low volume they kind of fade a bit. Guess I'll recommend people listen to this loud. :) There's just a bit of a "cloudy" feel to them. Not sure if that is an eq thing - just my take on it. The vocal harmonies/melodies are excellent here. The chorus is great! It has a "classic" vibe but sounds "original"... Guitar playing is outstanding....!

WOW! really interesting stuff, I like the folklore touch of it and the lyrics are great! I think the recording sounds OK for this type of music....don't know, it took me back to early Genesis or Jethro Tull. Music worth listening to! Well Done! :D

Cheers

Very ambitious sounding...sounds very well thought out to me (well written)...I would like it better if it was a bit "tighter" timing-wise (it sort of sounds like two different songs are playing "on top" of one another.

Thanks, ido,
I know what you mean about the vocals. I think I have another mix where they are hotter, but I'm going to wait till I get a new machine and do some stuff over. Thanks for listening.

Thanks, Joey,
Yeah, Tull was an early influence, and I do play the flute because of it. Glad you like the tune.

Thanks, mawtangent,
This type of song is tough to get tight, but with so much going on, I agree that it is imperative. I will rework this, because I think it's worth it. the guitars get a little loose at times, and I got a little carried away with the bass patch. I'm glad you like it and I'll give you a heads up when I tighten up the arrangement.
