Under 1000 (word on the street is 850) so maybe a good thing!

DAVs drive my ribbons more than adequately, but I may grab one of these for the simple fact that this is the first time that AEA has produced something that isnt insanely expensive. :p

I need a ribbon pre for my live trumpet gigs.

Very cool. I want one! Forsell does really nice stuff and Wes is great to deal with. I once sent an e-mail to AEA asking about shipping an R84 that I bought used and ended up having a nice correspondence with Wes himself who responded to my query. I love the service!

I might get one just to drive the dynamic I use for my trumpet on live gigs.

Fred Forsell yes, he is cool. He designed for Millennia too, but I wont hold that against him. ;)

You'll be happy to know I broke down and ordered a Dav, despite your pimping it :)

I might actually get it before I retire, too.........

Youll be pimping it in no time. ;)

Good thing you're in Germany, otherwise, if I *did* regret it .....

:D (just kidding)

Looks reals nice. I wonder how it would sound with my K2? Now where did I plant that money tree?
