Hello, im from the chicago land area and have worked in many first class studios here and there but never built my own.
therefore with the new digital age i need some sound advise. please dont reply if you cant be nice or serious. thank you
heres my question. I am looking to run an analogue board with 16 or so on board pre's and direct outs in to a protools system. i need help with the signal flow, and picking the right protools system (i am cheap). I was thinking of running thru a ghost into a few linked delta 1010's, is this possible? what are my advantages or disadvantages? I know protools well but have never had to do much of the set up myself. I would like to run LE version but now that m audio has set up a stand alone version of protools is this my best route? any advise for the set up/ signal flow for this to work efficiantly with each channel coresponding to its equal in protools (chan 1=input 1)
thanks
