could anyone give me advice on making a demo????????....
its my first time, and im really really good....and i want to send my demo to various record labels....anyone have any suggestions on making hiphop demo's im a rap/hiphop artist?????????
 
Go to the record producers in person and just put your hand over your mouth and start spittin' and making robot sounds
 
Find some local studios or get some gear of your own and lay down a few tracks.

And BUY your software.
 
you can't just make a demo and throw it at a label. you gotta play the game.

you find an area that your music is well accepted locally.

get a following, tour, sell records, get shows...

the a&r's go to you, not you to them.

don't self proclaim your awesomeness. let people that listen do that.
 
You should still have a product to hand out, or sell at your shows... which is where a demo could come in handy. Something with a few good songs on it, with your contact information, for booking agents and fans to locate you.. your website, and such.
