kind of off the topics but do any of you lot konw any good sites were i could do some research on acoustic phenomena and the merits of room analysis in relation to the process of live sound reinforcement

any advice would be great

Acoustic measurements for large venues is very different from measuring small rooms. In small rooms the problems are severe peaks and nulls and modal ringing. In large spaces the main problem is excess reverb time. The problems - reflections - are the same, and so is the treatment solution - absorption.

What exactly do you have in mind?
