Has anyone used these monitors, the (Carvin SRS 6.5a) I do primarily pop/r&b A/C Nsync to Celine to Puffy type artists and I am buying all new gear ( I parted ways with my "partners" to open my own place). I would like to keep my monitors at a low cost and preferably pre amped. I had a pair of Event 20/20 and I feel like they don't give me 100% on the mix. The bass you hear is played back on other stuff louder and the mids are not as loud. Anyway, I am also buying a Digi 002. Any advice on THESE powered monitors and suggestions on any others in the 300-500 dollar per pair price range... thanks guys!
