Advice needed: vocals and drums, multiple-purpose microphone

Hello everybody,

I would like to buy a microphone and need some input. I will use it either for vocals (primarily) and some times for percussion, or for percussion (primarily) and at times for vocals. In any case, it should be something multi-purpose; and I have a U$ 200 dollar budget.

I will record loud vocals and “ethnic” drums with a lot of low-pitched, bass sounds in them.

I am not even sure this hypothetical microphone exists…

I would appreciate some input.
