Hello Forum
I'm new here and I just wanted to see if I could get some advice from you guys in regards to the Korg Microkorg.
Basically, I own a Korg Microkorg and I love the preset sounds it has. I'm trying to look for an easy way to be able to record those sounds onto my computer.
To show how novice I am, I'll tell you how I currently record it - there has got to be an easier way!
I plug my Korg into a small mini amp using a guitar cord cable, and the sounds that come out of that are recorded from the microphone which is built into my tascam portable digital 4 track. Then I would import what has been badly recorded from my 4 track to Audacity.
Please help me as I never want to have to do it this way again!
I've always like the idea of a minimal approach towards my home recording. All I want is to start off with a Korg Microkorg, a simple drum machine (possibly something like Boss DR-110) and a relatively easy to use recording software program (Audacity?)
My problem is as simple as that set up may sound, I'm having trouble trying to connect all this equipment to my computer and record within a sequencer.
Could anyone please advise on what extra devices or plugs I may need in order to create this home studio?
Forgive me if I have posted this thread in the wrong forum...
Thank you.
Jez
