Hi -
I am new to all this (relatively) and am starting a new podcast, and would liek to know some recomemndations. I am looking for a (preferable) all-in-one 24-bit digitial recorder/mixer which I can connect to my Mac computer. It must allow recording live from the computer to the unit, as my control software for sound etc is the computer. I have been looking at Zoom R16 but see there may still be a Mac driver issue. The reason I want all in one is to avoid as many wires as possible and keep it simple but with very high quality audio/low noise (of course) and record external to the computer. Any suggestions? I can do firewire or usb. My price range is $500.00.
