Allo again.
i seem to be following you around these boards to comment. I notices a high noise floor on the recordings, and this is most likely from your soundcard, so i will look past that, since it is not as noticeable on the louder parts. The one thing i noticed is the voice pops sometimes and the guitar at the end strumming is clipping what sounds like the mic preamp.
for the pops we'll have to know what mic you are using. if it is one with a ball end (SM58 type) then you probably are breathing out really hard. If its not one like that, then you probably will need to either A) get a pop filter, or B) point it at your mouth from a position where less air will hit it.
witht he clipping of the preamp, since the song has dynamics, going from quiet to loud, you set the preamp for the lowest parts, when it gets louder it moves into a range of distortion in the preamp, if it moves even higher it starts farting out, sounds like bubbling in a strange way. I think a good way to try to work at this is to move the mic a little out of the nearfield since its picking up proximity effect, but that will chnage the sound of the guitar recording and i like the way it currently sounds. You could always swing the soundhole just a couple degrees away from the mic when it gets to the louder strumming.
now for the song. I like it. Its calm, and simplicity speaks much better then garbage muddiness.
