A short little tune recorded 5 years ago in my home office/room using GarageBand, and I can't say what else, except I know there was no treatment and I hadn't begun to spend the kids' inheritance yet on mics and other crap... And there was probably some beer involved ;) (Yet, still one of my favorite seasonal tunes because I talked our son into playing along!)

O Come, O Come Emmanuel (Advent, trad.) by Keith.Rogers | Keith Rogers | Free Listening on SoundCloud

Merry Christmas, Happy Festivus, or whatever you want it to be!

Very nice, the playing is tight and sounds well recorded. Guitar lick around 1:00 i bet you wish you could do again, interrupts the flow for a second. The viola? and the guitar both sound well recorded, if i had a complaint it sounds slightly over limited/in your face for an acoustic piece. Love that last chord!

Overall really good, I listened with HPs. I think viola could have been reduced closer to the guitar. I agree with strat some reduction in compression let the recording have some room.

Really good for an early project.

Thanks for the listen and comment. It's my son on violin - probably doesn't get out of 1st position here. I should pull this into Logic and give it a re-listen and see if I can touch it up. No nylon string in the house anymore so that will have to be left as is but I'm sure I've changed the way I do a few things since 2012 (probably play worse tho') so a remix might be in order.

(Just switched to the major right at the end.)
