Advantage of Windows64?

Hi guys... Yesterday i was talking to a friend of mine that works in the computers business...
He knows very little about DAWs, but he thinks that any CPU with a 64bits processor should work best with WindowsXP64 (not Vista)...

What do you think? Should i make the shift to Windows64?
(btw, I´m using an Athlon 64 X2 3600 on Windows XP)

Edit: I´m not using (or plan to use in the near future) 4GB of Ram... so, that´s not an issue.

i woldnt there are no drivers for tha damn thing!!!
i couldnt even hook up my printer cuz there was no damn drivers for it!!!

so i say no!!
im running an AMD64 FX-60 dual core and it runs and looks just fine on 32bit
