Chck was asking about my sound, so here goes...
I've been using this for about a year now and was asked for some of the settings I use....
Typical song... Bump the song treb to about 2 - 2.5
Vocal the same...
Get a good balance between the two..
Take vocal to the workshop....
Effects...
Amplitude- Dynamics processing-
Traditional tab:
Box 1 - Compress - ratios - 3.7
Box 2 - Compress - ratios - 1.1
Box 3 - Expand - ratios - 2
Thresholds-
Box 1 -9
Box 2 -40
bottom box output: .3
Attack/Release
box 1 0
box 2 0
box 3 40
box 1 0
box 2 .5
box 3 300
lookahead time 3
Whoops... Almost forgot...
Then take the vocal to:
Effects - delayed effects
Reverb -
The click on vocal- nice presence...
Mix down the whole tune:
Filters
Graphic equlizer
use the 20-band classic V
Take down the far left and the far rights a bit... up the middles a tiny bit... A little tweaking and you should have a pro sound... Or as close as I've been able to get...
Chuck, I hope that helps...
