anyone know how to issolate effects put on a track? For example echo on a guitar...and place that effect on another track and not hear the guitar

- Create a new bus from within the guitar channel. (Keep the guitar assigned to Master at the bottom of the channel, but send signal to the new bus by setting "S1" send level to zero db or full up.)
- Now jump to the new bus channel and insert the desired effect there.
- Next, go to the effect plugin settings and set the output mix to 0% dry signal and 100% wet signal.
Presto! All effect and no original (dry) guitar on the bus channel.
