Adobe Audition 3.0 and E-MU 0404

Hi!

I'm using a E-MU 0404 soundcard and Adobe Audition. E-Mu has a patchmix with effects. When singing I can use the patchmix and its settings live but when I press record in Adobe Audition nothing of the settings from the patchmix is recorded. Only a clean track.

What have I missed?

Back in the days when EMU had telephone support, I asked them the same question, (I have a 1212M), and they said no. It is only for playback.
