additional headphone jack's

Still totally new to this. I bought a Tascam FW 1082 which works as a stand alone monitor mixer which is one of the things I needed to be able to do. but it only has one Headphone out on it and I now find I will need at least two preferrably that can be controlled separately.

I was wondering if there is a piece of equipment designed as an add on to do this?

Would a Headphone amp do it? or something else? would you take the Headphone out signal from the 1082 to the headphone amp and then to the individual headphones or what?

Yes, arwenmark. A headphone amp is the ticket. If the headphone mixes are the same, and you just want different volume settings, you can sent the heaphone out to the main stereo in. By using aux sends, you can learn to build custom headphone mixes as well. Here's a cheapie that works for me-

Headphone amp is the way to go.

but you are still going to be limited to one MIX out of the tascam.
