myn fender board has 1 xlr input 1 1/4 input and 1 insert for each channel I come into the board from the mic to the xlr input then I go from the insert only put in to first click to the adat channels 1-8 and then from the adat to the 1/4 inputs channels 8-16 to monitor but know I 2 adats how would I be able to record 16 channels and monitor 16 channels without repatching think you for any help

You can use the inserts as direct outs, just make cables with a stereo jack that has tip and ring connected for in the inserts. This way you can use all the micpre's. (I'm assuming you have a 16 channel mixer...)

This will allow you to monitor while playing, but you'll need to repatch to listen... Maybe if you got a switch to choose between the line and mic inputs of your channels...

Otherwise the only way is using a 32 channel mixer, I think....
