I've been fooling around with my new Carvin V3 head -- 100W/ 3 Channel all tube.

This all started out pretty simple, I didn't like the factory grill.........so I decided to design my own. Well after I got that done I began thinking of other things I could do to it to "Trick" it out so to speak, and I decided to add some case lighting to the inside of the Head Chassis.

Now I absolutly HATE those litte rice rocketts running around with the flourecent lights underneath and the big Ol exhaust tip hanging out the back (Which usually has the tendency to sound like a weed eater :) ), so I didn't want to fall into the musical equivalent of that........but you tell me if it's just gaudy, or Way COOL!

Here's a pic of the amp in it's stock form: http://www.carvin.com/products/single.php?ItemNumber=V3&CID=V3A

Actually the truth be told, that's a touched up picture.

Here's a link to the pics after I redesigned the Grill and added the lighting:

That is killer! apl is now officially Carvin's #2 favorite customer :p If he wants to make it back to #1, he has to tattoo Carvin on his forehead :D

nice work man. i would have went with amber lighting for that tubey glow thing.

Who cut the grill for you? I see that you replaced it with chrome diamond plate material.

I had a local company cut it for me using a waterJet machine. :)
